Woman goes missing in Prague after dropping daughter off at nursery

Prague police have launched a search for a woman who dropped her daughter off at nursery on Friday morning and has not been seen since. The information was released in a police press statement and posted on the force's website.

According to police, the woman was caught on CCTV as she left her home. She was wearing a light-coloured short-sleeved T-shirt and pale blue jeans, with a black leather backpack on her shoulders. The missing woman is around 167–168 cm tall, of slim build, with a round face and brown eyes. She has shoulder-length dark brown curly hair and wears glasses for vision correction. This was reported by police spokesman Jan Danek.

The woman may be in danger

Police stressed that the woman takes medication regularly, and her life cannot currently be ruled out as being at risk. Anyone who has seen the missing woman or has information about her whereabouts and movements is urged to contact police immediately on 158 or visit the nearest Czech police station.

Her partner has also appealed for help finding her in a Facebook post. He wrote that her health has been poor lately due to autoimmune conditions, and that in recent days she had been suffering from severe headaches and excessive drowsiness. He suggested she may have appeared disoriented and lain down somewhere to sleep, or that someone may have called an ambulance for her.
