On Saturday afternoon, a 44-year-old woman died on a second-class road in the Plzeň Region while riding a Honda motorcycle from Raželov to Starý Smolivec. According to police, for reasons not yet established she veered off the road to the right and crashed; despite the efforts of doctors at the scene, she died of her injuries.

Forensic investigators have taken over the case, and a forensic medical examination has been ordered for the deceased. Police spokeswoman Iva Vršecká said the causes and all circumstances of the accident are still being determined.
